The biggest group of Māori movers consisted of those in their 20s. Most of them had moved in the previous five years. This may reflect young people moving for educational and employment opportunities and moving from the family home to independent living.


The move towards mono-culturalism on the planet eliminates other cultures of other countries. A New Zealand school book lost its Maori words and all reference to Maori.


This chart shows the Maori have a great deal less people receiving language immersion education than other cultures.
